The 2Act Foundation invites composers from around the world to take part in the 4th edition of the “Art & Violence” Composition Competition—a platform for artistic exploration and bold musical expression.
This year, the competition challenges participants to compose an original piece for solo pedal harp. As always, we explore the intricate relationship between art and violence, urging composers to reflect on this theme through sound. In a world marked by turmoil and transformation, we believe in the power of music to question, provoke, and inspire.
We are looking for works that not only push the boundaries of contemporary composition but also carry a deeper message, engaging with the theme in a way that is personal, thought-provoking, and innovative.
Dare to take on the challenge. Let your music speak.
