International
Composition Competition

Art as a space for reflection.
Music as a language of dialogue.

The International Composition Competition “Art & Violence”, organised by Fundacja 2Act, is a platform for artistic exploration, critical reflection and creative expression.

At its core lies the relationship between art and violence – a complex, multidimensional subject that remains deeply embedded in the human experience. We invite composers to explore this theme through individual approaches to sound, innovative compositional techniques and bold artistic interpretations.

Each edition presents participants with a new compositional challenge, defining a specific instrumental setting while opening up new possibilities for interpreting the competition’s central theme.

We believe that music can do more than move emotions. It can provoke questions, challenge boundaries and create space for dialogue.

We are not looking for a single answer.
We are looking for bold artistic voices.
